Growing Closer to God Through Prayer
Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Have you ever wondered "why should I pray?" Think of this: is it possible to have a relationship with someone who you do not communicate with? How sincere would a relationship with someone be if you said the exact same thing to someone every time you spoke to them? Add to that if what you were saying was because it was "just routine" to say it? How valued would that person feel? How much would that relationship flourish?
Join us this week as we talk about prayer and how it affects our relationship with God, as well as learning some helpful prayer practices.

- God and Satan are not equals.
- You can't win the battle on your own.
- God accomplished victory and gives us the equipment to live day to day in the victory.
