Children's Ministry

Adventure Kidz is a creative, fun, caring environment for kids age birth through to grade 6.

Meeting in age specific groups, our Sunday mornings at Pleasant Valley provide an opportunity for kids to experience God in their lives and discover how to be a devoted follower of Jesus.

Each week we intentionally create an environment where children know they are loved: by God & by our children's ministry personnel.

We do this by:

- Teaching the Bible: Providing a relevant application of Biblical truth for children's lives and culture.

- Providing Safety: Fostering an environment that provides physical, emotional and spiritual safety.

- Child Targeted Programming: Engaging children where they are at. Age appropriate fun, fun, fun!

- Experiencing Worship: Reaching up to God through participation in a time of contemporary worship.

- Shepherding Groups: Children participate in small groups led by caring adults and teens. Children connect with each other and grow together through activities, discussion and prayer.

- Connecting and Extending Relationships: Communicating and partnering with families. Reaching out to children and families in our community.

- Stewardship: Teaching children to be generous, involving them in giving and showing them how to use their time, their spiritual gifts and the resources God gives them.
